Software Team Lead

An ideal candidate for this position would be someone who has worked in an entry level software development position for 2-3 years, and is ready to take on more responsibility. A Team lead coordinates with clients, does some SCRUM management, and is tasked with estimating project tasks. They need to be able to support other team members, and communicate effectively, and ensure expectations are both achievable and on track for the entire project team which typically consists of 1-3 developers, but can be as large as 5. They also have to be prepared to work on multiple projects at once. Strong organization, technical skills, the ability to multitask, and the drive to deliver high-quality user experiences to our clients are critical. This full-time opportunity is available for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:
- Develop specifications and estimate.
- Give regular accurate status updates.
- Meet with clients to demo and train
- Use Spectrum programming standards to meet or exceed project requirements
- Design and modify relational databases
- Modify, test, and support ASP.NET pages / C# or VB code / Javascript and other languages.
- Design and implement complex logic
- Create and modify high quality reports and exports
- Validate and test code
- Oversee projects from start to finish

Requirements:
- Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or related field required
- 1-3 years of software development experience
- Agile experience and knowledge of PMBOK principles preferred.
- Strong communication skills.
- Strong UI/UX design skills
- The ability to learn and teach others new techniques and skills
- Competency in Visual Studio, VS Code, or other IDE
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, .NET languages, JavaScript
- Must be able to supervise and support team members
